Cover and Blue Portrait- Location Scouting

I scouted various locations and decided that this room, a spacious chamber used for producing art, would be perfect to take my magazine's cover photo and a photo used in my table of contents. In order to create a backdrop for the cover image, I set up a black tarp on the wall. This way, the photo looks more professional; however, I felt like the image on the table of contents should not have this backdrop for two reasons: because it would look too similar to the other photo and it would, artistically, not look how I wanted it to look.
This was an ideal location for what I needed because I could perform multiple photo shoots here and still have the pictures look diverse. At this location, there is ample space and privacy to experiment with my photographs and set up any backdrops that I need. There are even computers in this room so I could edit my images right after taking them!

These are the photographs that I took in this location. The first one is used in the cover of my magazine and the second is used in my table of contents.
